I’m Ivan Palii, the founder of Skillgaps, an online platform that helps to reveal and fill gaps in your skillset.

In the first stage, this website is only an online aggregation website, where you can find online courses from experts you can trust. There are many such platforms, but I wouldn’t say I like how they are built. These platforms contain too many of the same courses only from popular sites like Udemy, Coursera, and Futurelearn.

And there exist many valuable courses from solo teachers and schools you didn’t hear about but that will be more valuable for you. So, my goal is to find this hidden value over the internet, publish it on Skillgaps and help you to understand which course is the best next step.

The right education is one of the best leverage to succeed in any field. But today is too difficult to find the ‘right’ profession, school, course, teacher, etc. The wrong educational decision often leads not only to wasted time and money but what is more dangerous, it can lead to big career miscalculations and an incorrect assessment of one’s capabilities, one’s goals, and the needs of the labor market.
